The Parramatta Eels<\/a> have locked up flyer Josh Addo-Carr<\/a> with a contract extension following his superb first season with the club.<\/p>\n

Off-contract in 2026, Addo-Carr has inked a one-year extension to remain with the Eels.<\/p>\n

This new deal means the star winger will call Parramatta home until the end of the 2027 season.<\/p>\n

“The Parramatta Eels are delighted to announce that Josh Addo-Carr has agreed to a one-year contract extension, securing his place at the club until the end of the 2027 NRL<\/a> season,” the club said in a statement.<\/p>\n

In 22 appearances for the Eels, Addo-Carr crossed for 19 tries. His signing proved a brilliant move by the club, which gave the star winger a fresh start after he was released by the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n

Addo-Carr expressed his satisfaction with the positive environment at the Eels, emphasising his successful transition and committing himself to helping the club achieve future success.<\/p>\n

“I absolutely love this club,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Everyone here, from the coaches to the players, management and admin staff, and of course our incredible fans, have made Parramatta feel like home from the moment I arrived.<\/p>\n

“Rylesy (head coach Jason Ryles) and the coaching staff have helped me become the player I always wanted to be, both on and off the field.<\/p>\n

“I’m grateful for their belief in me and I’m excited for what we’re building together.”<\/p>\n

Eels football boss Mark O’Neill emphasised the value that Addo-Carr brings to the club.<\/p>\n

“We are absolutely delighted to have Josh remain with the Parramatta Eels through 2027,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Josh has not only returned to his best form, but he has also shown tremendous leadership within our squad.<\/p>\n

“Our younger players look up to him – his professionalism, energy, and experience have been invaluable.<\/p>\n

“He’s a great person to have around the club and someone who represents his family and his culture very proudly.”<\/p>\n

Since making his first-grade debut in 2016, Addo-Carr has crossed for 159 tries in 201 NRL games for the Tigers, Storm, Bulldogs, and Eels.<\/p>\n
