Josele Ballester has his first victory as a professional. <\/p>\n

The Spaniard, who joined Sergio Garcia\u2019s LIV Golf team immediately after giving up his amateur status, carded a final-round 65 at Riyadh Golf Club to complete a three-shot victory at the PIF Saudi International.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is why I worked so hard every day,\u201d Ballester said. \u201cIt\u2019s been really cool, to finally get this done. It\u2019s going to make me keep working even harder to accomplish all the things I have.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut right now I\u2019m really happy and thankful for all the people that have been there supporting me.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been great these past few months. It\u2019s been a lot of learning. When I joined LIV, I was not playing great, and it was a learning process. I had to become better. It\u2019s been really cool to see that in this brief time I\u2019ve gotten so much better and that I can compete at the highest level with the best players in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also celebrating are Scott Vincent and Yosuke Asaji. <\/p>\n

There were also two spots available on LIV Golf next season for the players finishing highest in the Asian Tour\u2019s Order of Merit who aren\u2019t already contracted to the league. <\/p>\n

Vincent is no stranger to life on LIV Golf, of course. The Zimbabwean played in the league\u2019s first three seasons, banking more than $9 million in the process<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is not yet decided if they fill spots in teams vacated by relegations<\/a>, or play as wildcards. <\/p>\n
