Earlier this year, Canter teed up at The Players Championship to become the first former LIV golfer to compete in a PGA Tour event. He went on to finish 7th in the Race to Dubai, and second in the battle for the 10 PGA Tour cards<\/a>.<\/p>\n But, according to a report in the Sports Business Journal<\/a>, Canter is expected to snub the opportunity to rejoin LIV Golf. <\/p>\n There are currently a number of spaces he could fill. The Hyflyers\u2019 Andy Ogletree, Torque\u2019s Mito Pereira, and the Iron Heads\u2019 Yubin Yang were all relegated in 2025. But the most obvious fit would be with Majesticks GC, whose roster is down to three after Henrik Stenson finished in the Drop Zone<\/a>. <\/p>\n If that were to be Canter\u2019s move, he would make up an all-English team with co-captains Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood, and Sam Horsfield. He has previously filled in for the injured Horsfield. <\/p>\n It would also make it two years in a row that a player earning a PGA Tour card through the Race to Dubai has turned down the move in favor of joining LIV.
