CAMBRIDGE, Mass. \u2013 Harvard women’s basketball (3-3) will head out of the country for its next two matchups as it competes at the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau, The Bahamas.\u00a0 In the first game of the tournament, the Crimson will face Alabama (5-0) on Monday, November 24 at 6:30 p.m. ET in the Baha Mar Convention Center.\u00a0 Harvard will then face either Minnesota or South Florida on Wednesday, November 26.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Crimson 2025-26 season will be comprised of 13 nonconference and its annual 14-game Ivy League slate.\u00a0 Harvard will play nine of its nonconference games in November and eight of them will take place outside Cambridge, Mass.
\n\tIn its last time out, the Crimson captured a gritty overtime win over crosstown rival Boston College.\u00a0
\n\tHarvard pulled out the 72-65 victory on the back of a 23-point and 13-rebound double-double from Abigail Wright<\/a>.\u00a0 The totals marked career-highs for the junior, who also shot 52.6% from the field and added four assists, two blocks, and a steal in the contest.
\n\tSaniyah Glenn-Bello<\/a> and Katie Krupa<\/a> also stuffed the stat sheets against the Eagles.\u00a0 Glenn-Bello tallied 13 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and three steals while her fellow senior contributed 10 points, four rebounds, five assists, and three blocks.
\n\tWhile having a career year already Karlee White<\/a> ranks fourth in field goal percentage (58.0%) eighth in scoring (14.2), and 10th in steals (1.7) in the Ivy League.
\n\tWright is also putting up career numbers and ranks third in rebounding (7.7), fifth in scoring (15.5), and seventh in assists (2.8) in the conference.\u00a0
\n\tGabby Anderson<\/a> is continuing her gritty play, ranking fifth in rebounding (7.2) and 14th in steals (1.5) in the league.
\n\tLastly, Glenn-Bello is currently the third-best shot-blocker in the league with 1.2 blocks per game.\u00a0 \u00a0
\n\tFollowing the opening week of action, Olivia Jones<\/a> was named the first Ivy League Rookie of the Week by averaging 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.\u00a0
\n\tPrior to the season, the Crimson elected juniors, White and Wright as captains of the 2025-26 Harvard women’s basketball team.\u00a0
\n\tHarvard is coming off arguably its best season in program history in 2024-25 as it accumulated a program-record 24 wins, won its first Ivy League Tournament Championship in program history, and returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007.\u00a0
\n\tDespite losing two historic players and its top scorers in Harmoni Turner<\/a> and Elena Rodriguez<\/a>, the Crimson still welcomed back 11 players from its championship roster and added five first-years in a highly touted recruiting class.\u00a0
\n\tJones, Aubrey Shaw<\/a>, Maya Nahar<\/a>, Ava Krumwiede<\/a>, and Sam Wills<\/a> make up Harvard’s Class of 2029.\u00a0 Prior to arriving in Cambridge, Shaw was a top 65 recruit out of Blue Valley North High School in Kansas.\u00a0
\n\tAmong its returners, the Crimson is led by its trio of seniors in Anderson, Glenn-Bello, and Krupa.\u00a0 The senior class brings experience, scoring, defensive prowess, and All-Ivy accolades from their first three years with Harvard.\u00a0
\n\tMoore has continued to lead the Crimson back into the national spotlight and build her legacy at the helm of the program.\u00a0 The fourth-year coach has the most wins in the first three seasons for a head coach in program history.
\n\tPrior to this season, Moore was named to the preseason watch list for the 2026 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year award.\u00a0 Moore was one of five finalists for the award last season.
\n\tIn the first Mid-Major Top 25, Harvard ranked second in the poll while receiving six first-place votes.\u00a0 Most recently, despite falling the Crimson still ranks inside the top 10 checking in at No. 9.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tThe Crimson was picked to finish third in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, receiving 126 points, including on first-place vote.\u00a0 Harvard trailed only Princeton (163) and Columbia (147).
\n\tThis will be the first-ever meeting between Harvard and Alabama.
\n\tHarvard is looking for its first Southeastern Conference win in program history.\u00a0 The Crimson is currently 0-12 all-time against SEC opponents.
