\nLindenwood Men’s Basketball fell to 2-4 on the 2025-26 season on Thursday night with a 73-53 loss at Indiana. Anias Futrell<\/a> led the way with 12 points, while Jadis Jones<\/a> was one rebound shy of posting his first double-double of the season finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds against the Hoosiers. The Lions trailed by 16 points at halftime and cut the lead to six in the second half, but Indiana went on a run in the middle of the second half to take the victory.<\/p>\n
\nKansas City is 1-4 on the 2025-26 season with their only win of the season coming in their season opener at home against Evangel by a score of 80-74. Junior Guard Jayson Petty scored 18 points in UMKC’s win over Evangel knocking down 50% of his three point attempts in the game. Petty has scored in double figures in four of the first five games played to lead the Roos. Guard CJ Evans has also been a bright spot for UMKC, scoring a season-high 23 points against Iona on November 11. Both Evans and Petty are averaging over 12 points per game and despite having three players scoring 12 points per game, the Roos are scoring 69.8 points per game and are giving up 86.4 points per game defensively.<\/p>\n
