<\/p>\nThe President of the United States is continuing to take time to invest in the golf community.<\/p>\n
President Trump, 79, owns several top courses throughout the United States and Europe. He’s spent time at many of his U.S. courses since taking office in January. He’s also traveled to Europe to visit his courses abroad. The President of the United States made a special golf announcement this weekend, too.<\/p>\n

The President of the United States announced that he is teaming up with legendary golf star Jack Nicklaus to renovate the courses at Joint Base Andrews. He is adding the site known as the \u201cpresident\u2019s golf course\u201d to his list of construction projects.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re going to do some work,” he told reporters.<\/p>\n

President Trump explained the plan to reporters at the White House.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re doing some fix-up of the base, which it needs. We\u2019re gonna try and reinstitute the golf courses. I\u2019m meeting with the greatest Jack Nicklaus,\u201d Trump told reporters on Friday. \u201cHe\u2019s involved in trying to bring their recreational facility back.\u201d<\/p>\n

The course is located about 15 miles outside of Washington, D.C. It has three 18-hole golf courses, three practice putting greens, a driving range and two private practice areas.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo we\u2019ll fix that up, and Jack will be the architect and he\u2019ll design it,\u201d the president said.<\/p>\n
President Trump added: \u201cTwo existing courses that are in very bad shape\u201d saying, \u201cwe can \u2014 for very little money \u2014 fix it up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we\u2019re looking at other things over at Andrews.”<\/p>\n

President Trump ‘warned’ to not spend too much time in golf<\/p>\n
President Trump loves his golf, but U.S. citizens are warning him to not spend too much time in the golf world. He has more important things to focus on, after all.<\/p>\n
“You\u2019re telling me the President has time to consult golf course design while sitting in office? People are going to have a field day with this\u2026” one fan wrote.<\/p>\n
“What does DOGE have to say about having golf courses on military grounds?” one fan added.<\/p>\n

“What next? First Tiger dating Don Jr\u2019s Ex, and now Jack doing course design for him. Soon, he\u2019ll have Jack designing a course for him on the future Qatar Air Force Base in Idaho, tax free of course,” one fan added.<\/p>\n
“This seems like a real priority in your country, especially when people can\u2019t afford healthcare!” one fan added.<\/p>\n
