The spotlight finds rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders once again, this time for his first career NFL start for the Cleveland Browns<\/a> in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a>. As fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel remains sidelined in concussion protocol, the fifth-round draft pick has been put in the primary role for the first time.<\/p>\n Sanders’ first taste of regular-season action came in relief of Gabriel during the Week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>, an outing he was quick to acknowledge was far from his best. Taking over for the injured starter at halftime, Sanders struggled to find a rhythm, completing only 4-of-16 passes for 47 yards with one interception, contributing to the team blowing a lead and losing 23-16.\u00a0<\/p>\n For Sanders, who was widely projected as a much higher selection before his draft day slide, this is a crucial pivot point.
