Adeyemi\u2019s contract at Dortmund expires in 2027, and his future at the German club is uncertain.<\/p>\n
The attacking midfielder was signed by Manchester United recruitment chief<\/a> Christopher Vivell<\/a> at Red Bull Salzburg. <\/p>\n Adeyemi struck up a connection with a young Benjamin Sesko<\/a> there, and so it is easy to understand why United would want to be alert to his availability.<\/p>\n Karim Adeyemi has had an inconsistent season for Borussia Dortmund, and was on the bench for their clash against Stuttgart.<\/p>\n He came on during the second half and scored a crucial 89th minute goal to give Dortmund a 3-2 lead. Unfortunately they went on to concede in stoppage time and draw 3-3.<\/p>\n The goal was Adeyemi\u2019s first strike since September, and his third goal of the season.<\/p>\n Speaking after the game, Dortmund manager Niko Kovac raved about his performance.<\/p>\n He told Liga Insider<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m delighted \u2013 not just because he scored the goal, but because he helped the team and showed exactly what he\u2019s capable of.<\/p>\n \u201cHe shook them off and kept running. That\u2019s what I want to see from him.\u201d<\/p>\n Kovac did offer a warning to Adeyemi \u2013 that his starting performances have not matched the energy he brought off the bench.<\/p>\n \u201cIf he only brings that from the 75th minute onwards, then I\u2019ll always bring him on \u2013 then he\u2019s a game changer.\u201d<\/p>\n Would Karim Adeyemi be a good signing for Manchester United? Manchester United have bigger priorities<\/p>\n As much as Christopher Vivell may be intrigued by the chance to sign Karim Adeyemi again, this should not be a priority for United.<\/p>\n The main objective for the next transfer windows is to fix the central midfield position<\/a>, likely requiring two signings.<\/p>\n The only real exception United could make in January is to trigger Antoine Semenyo\u2019s release clause<\/a>.<\/p>\n And if this is an expensive move United make, it would render a move for Adeyemi even more unlikely.<\/p>\n![\"Karim](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2247946429-1024x624.jpg\")
