Brisbane Lions AFLW duo, Courtney Hodder and Jennfier Dunne have been rewarded for their outstanding seasons with their maiden selection in the 2025 AFLW All-Australian side at Monday night\u2019s W Awards.<\/p>\n
The two Lions accepted their All-Australian honours at AFLW\u2019s night of nights from a satellite event in Brisbane ahead of Saturday\u2019s AFLW Grand Final.<\/p>\n
Both Hodder and Dunne broke through for their first All-Australian selections off the back of outstanding seasons.<\/p>\n
Named in the All-Australian squad for the first time, Hodder has enjoyed an electric season playing predominantly as a forward but spending some time pinch-hitting in the midfield.<\/p>\n
The energetic forward has enjoyed a career year booting 14 goals, while collecting 16 disposals and laying over six tackles per game.<\/p>\n
Dunne, who is only in her third season of AFLW football has become one of the premier key defenders of the competition.<\/p>\n
The Dublin-native, at time of selection, had been involved in 19 one-on-one contests and losing only two, while also keeping leading goal-kicker Indy Tahau to just one major in Round 8.<\/p>\n
