After a two-month social media break, the 37-year-old returned to explain how he used a psychoactive compound to heal himself during a spiritual awakening.<\/p>\n
The substance he used, ibogaine, is under investigation around the globe for its promise in treating trauma and substance abuse.<\/p>\n

McGregor wrote on X: \u201cHey guys, I am back. I was blessed to meet the most forward-thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma.<\/p>\n
\u201cI travelled to Tijuana Mexico and underwent Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO.<\/p>\n
\u201cWatch the Netflix documentary just released titled \u2018In Waves and War\u2019 as it is the exact place I went. It was incredible, intense, and absolutely eye opening.\u201d<\/p>\n
The former two-division champion said he watched himself die, saw his own coffin, and felt the heartbreak his death would have caused his kids. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was shown what would have been my death,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow soon it was to be, and how it would have impacted my children.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was looking down on myself as it happened, and then I was looking out from the coffin.<\/p>\n
\u201cGod then came to me in the Holy Trinity. He is MIGHTY! Jesus, his child. Mary, his Mother. The Archangels. All present in heaven.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was shown the light. Jesus descended from the white marble steps of heaven and anointed me with a crown.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was saved! My brain. My heart. My soul. Healed! I was 36 hours under before I finally rested. When I awoke I was me again.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe most enlightening and enchanting experience I have ever undertaken. This treatment is worth its weight in GOLD!<\/p>\n

He\u2019s dropped multiple hints about a comeback, even suggesting he could appear on the White House card next year.<\/p>\n
No bout is confirmed, but McGregor said supporters should expect something special when he returns.<\/p>\n

Whether this treatment can give McGregor back the focus he had early in his career is anyone\u2019s guess.
