A\ufeff bar full of patrons in Paris was surprised when Hugh Jackman<\/a> walked in and stole the show.<\/p>\n

In a video uploaded to Instagram<\/a>, the 57-year-old shared his own rendition<\/a> of Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.<\/p>\n

The Aussie star<\/a> looked delighted as the rest of the bar joined in at the crucial trumpet part, even taking his phone from the person filming and showing his point of view.<\/p>\n

“\ufeffAn Aussie walks into a bar \u2026 in Paris. Then this happened,” he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Many of his fans found the surprise typical of the charming Aussie star.<\/p>\n

“Normal, this charming Aussie loves to sing and make people happy, happy to see him like this again \u2764\ufe0f\ufeff” wrote one fan.<\/p>\n

“Great job at singing, \ud83d\udc4f Doing great, have a good time around there…\ud83d\udc4d\ud83c\udf99\ufe0f\ud83d\udca5” another added.<\/p>\n

“What a great showman he might be the greatest,” one joked, referring to his previous role in The Greatest Showman.<\/p>\n

“If you don’t sing along to Sweet Caroline are you even Hughman,” another joked.<\/p>\n

“Give that man a \ud83c\udfa4 and a stage and there’s no stopping him,” one fan commented.<\/p>\n

The Wolverine star revealed in his caption that the stunt was done to promote his latest film, Song Sung Blue.<\/p>\n

In it, he stars alongside Kate Hudson as Mike and Claire Sardina\ufeff, also known as the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.<\/p>\n

The Les Mis\u00e9rables star used the Hollywood premiere of the film a month ago to make his new relationship with actress Sutton Foster red carpet official.<\/p>\n

The two performers have been photographed at several events, but this marked their red carpet debut since reports of their romance began circulating in 2024.<\/p>\n

Jackman, who split from fellow Australian star Deborra-lee Furness<\/a> in 2023, had his arm around Foster as they posed for photos at the Hollywood premiere of his new movie.<\/p>\n

The pair, who have known one another for years through musical theatre and were co-stars in Broadway’s The Music Man, wore complementary black outfits.<\/p>\n

Jackman and Foster, 50, have not directly confirmed their long-speculated romance, and generally keep out of the spotlight.<\/p>\n

However, after plenty of speculation over the nature of their relationship, they were photographed holding hands and later kissing in Los Angeles in January.<\/p>\n
