Daniel Faalele and the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> continued their momentum, storming to the top of the AFC North division with their fifth straight victory.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Jordan Mailata and Mitch Wishnowksy were on the receiving end of some tough losses.<\/p>\n

Aussie NFL Week 11 Wrap-up\u00a0Daniel Faalele<\/p>\n

After starting the season at 1-5, the Baltimore Ravens have recovered to firm as the favourites of the AFC North division. The Ravens’ five-game win streak comes again in spite of some polarising play from Aussie guard Daniel Faalele, whose performances have been under a microscope for weeks now by the Baltimore fandom.<\/p>\n

Still, the Ravens were able to overcome a couple of noticeable mistakes by the 26-year-old to defeat the lowly New York Jets<\/a> 23-10. Superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for just 153 yards and no touchdowns at a 56.5 per cent completion rate. But in a credit to his offensive line which includes Faalele, he was sacked just once.<\/p>\n

Tory Taylor<\/p>\n

The Chicago Bears<\/a> continue to maintain their top spot in the NFC North division, doing a favour for Faalele’s Ravens by defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> 31-28 on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aussie punter Tory Taylor was required four times by the Bears’ offensive units, with his four attempts combining for more than 200 yards. His longest travelled 58 yards as Chicago secured their fourth straight victory.<\/p>\n

Mitch Wishnowsky<\/p>\n

Buffalo’s chances at topping the AFC East division are continuing to slip away, after Josh Allen and the Bills<\/a> were defeated 23-19 by the Houston Texans<\/a> on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

The Bills’ offence struggled against the Texans’ defence, with Allen – arguably the best quarterback in the NFL – forced into throwing two interceptions and being sacked eight times.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Bills’ struggles saw Aussie punter Mitch Wishnowsky take to the field three times, as he would punt the ball for a combined 136 yards, his longest travelling 48 yards.<\/p>\n

Jordan Mailata<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>‘ four-game win streak was snapped on Sunday after they were unable to make the most of a hot start, losing to the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> 21-24 despite being ahead 21-0 in the second quarter.<\/p>\n

Jordan Mailata and the rest of the Eagles’ offensive line did help quarterback Jalen Hurts look a lot more comfortable though, as the Super Bowl LIX MVP had one of his best games of the season, throwing for 289 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions, as well as two separate rushing touchdowns, while only being sacked once.<\/p>\n

The defending Super Bowl champions still sit atop of the NFC East division with a record of 8-3.<\/p>\n

Michael Dickson<\/p>\n

The Seattle Seahawks<\/a> continue to remain hot on the heels of the L.A. Rams for the top spot in the NFC West division, after defeating the Tennessee Titans<\/a> 30-24.<\/p>\n

Aussie punter Michael Dickson was rarely called upon for the Seahawks, only being required to punt twice, with his two attempts totalling a combined 106 yards.<\/p>\n
