{"id":30728,"date":"2025-07-29T19:51:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T19:51:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/30728\/"},"modified":"2025-07-29T19:51:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T19:51:08","slug":"untamed-leads-netflix-english-tv-list-again-the-hunting-wives-debuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/30728\/","title":{"rendered":"Untamed Leads Netflix English TV List Again; The Hunting Wives Debuts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/untamed\/\" id=\"auto-tag_untamed\" data-tag=\"untamed\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Untamed<\/a> spent another week at No. 1 on <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/netflix\/\" id=\"auto-tag_netflix\" data-tag=\"netflix\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Netflix<\/a>\u2018s English TV list, more than doubling its viewership from the week prior to amass 26.1M views from July 21 to 27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe series, which managed a Top 10 spot in 92 countries, has <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/untamed-renewed-season-2-netflix-1236473026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">already been renewed for Season 2<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tViewers were also still intrigued by the Amy Bradley disappearance, putting Amy Bradley Is Missing in the No. 2 spot for English TV with 10.2M views. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tInterestingly, third place went to the new soapy thriller series <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-hunting-wives\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-hunting-wives\" data-tag=\"the-hunting-wives\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Hunting Wives<\/a>, which up until a little over a mont ago was a Starz limited series awaiting premiere date on the platform.\u00a0Lionsgate has a U.S.-only agreement with the streamer for the series, making it all the more impressive that it managed to capture third place on the global list with 5.2M views.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe Hunting Wives\u00a0debuted on Monday last week and quickly rose to No. 4 on the U.S. charts. By the end of the week, it was sitting in second place in the U.S. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tElsewhere in TV, the final season of The Sandman took fourth place with 3.3M views, while Trainwreck: P.I. Moms snagged fifth with 4.8M. Sirens, on the heels of an Emmy nomination for Meghann Fahy, is still going strong as well at No. 8 with 1.8M views.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSquid Game Season 3 maintained its spot at No. 1 on the non-English TV list with another 4.6M views as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOver in film, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/happy-gilmore-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_happy-gilmore-2\" data-tag=\"happy-gilmore-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Happy Gilmore 2<\/a> has a huge debut, racking up 46.7M views in its first three days, marking the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/adam-sandler-happy-gilmore-2-record-breaking-1236473288\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">highest opening for any Adam Sandler Netflix film\u00a0ever<\/a>. It was also the biggest US opening weekend of all-time for a Netflix film. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe original Happy Gilmore was also on the list at No. 3 with 11.4M views as audiences prepped for the new one.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/kpop-demon-hunters\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kpop-demon-hunters\" data-tag=\"kpop-demon-hunters\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KPop Demon Hunters<\/a> is also still slaying its competition, putting up a whopping 26.3M views in its sixth week, claiming the No. 2 spot on the list.
