Arsenal could rival Tottenham in their pursuit of Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo this winter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tottenham suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Arsenal<\/a> in the Premier League on Sunday. <\/p>\n

The pathetic display left Tottenham fans with very little faith in Thomas Frank <\/a>moving forward, with discontent growing each day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And now the Gunners could very well humiliate the Lilywhites off the pitch as much as they already have on it, ahead of the January transfer window.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eberechi Eze to Tottenham was all but signed<\/a> over the summer, before Arsenal swooped in for him in the final moments. <\/p>\n

It was a masterclass, and there are fears it could happen again if Arsenal sink their claws into Tottenham target Semenyo<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Spurs are interested in triggering Semenyo\u2019s reported \u00a365million release clause<\/a> this winter, speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Tottenham<\/a> expert and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham<\/a> believes Arsenal will rival them to the winger\u2019s signature. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d be a fantastic addition, and I hate to say it, but you could absolutely see Arsenal selling Leandro Trossard or someone and then just get Semenyo,\u201d Wenham said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the sort of thing they do. Unfortunately, they do buy very, very well, and even this summer, we saw the amount of depth they added to their squad. <\/p>\n

Tottenham cannot afford to miss out on Antoine Semenyo<\/p>\n

While Wilson Odobert<\/a> has made a convincing case to become Frank\u2019s starting left winger, his game against Arsenal highlighted just how raw he still is. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Semenyo<\/a> has netted six goals and has provided three assists in 11 Premier League games this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The difference is astounding, and given Spurs\u2019 goalscoring and creativity issues, he could be the perfect player to transform their season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After their humiliating defeat on Sunday and the failed Eze transfer mission over the summer, Tottenham can\u2019t afford to miss out to their rivals once again. <\/p>\n
