{"id":308109,"date":"2025-11-25T17:07:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T17:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/308109\/"},"modified":"2025-11-25T17:07:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T17:07:12","slug":"newcastle-red-bulls-saracens-hooker-samson-adejimi-joins-on-loan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/308109\/","title":{"rendered":"Newcastle Red Bulls: Saracens hooker Samson Adejimi joins on loan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Newcastle Red Bulls have signed Saracens hooker Samson Adejimi on loan for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Adejimi, 23, has scored eight tries in 14 games for Sarries, as well as 12 in 27 appearances for Championship side Ampthill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The English hooker will provide cover in that area for Newcastle after an injury to Italy international Hame Faiva in the Prem Rugby Cup defeat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/rugby-union\/articles\/ce8n0k1420go\" class=\"ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">to Saracens<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Head coach Alan Dickens said: &#8220;Samson is a very promising player who gives us greater depth and additional quality in a position where we need it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Newcastle are bottom of the Prem and face Leicester Tigers at home on Friday night (19:45 GMT). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Newcastle Red Bulls have signed Saracens hooker Samson Adejimi on loan for the rest of the season.
