It certainly is the season for hard rock, AC\/DC played their second Sydney show last night, selling out stadiums around the country, with Metallica doing the same last week.<\/p>\n

And now, Guns n Roses will be hitting the road next year for a 60 show tour, kicking off in March and taking them across South America, Europe and the US.<\/p>\n

The band will release two new songs next week to mark the occasion and no word yet on any Aussie dates, but finfers crossed they make their way down here.<\/p>\n

And Dick Van Dyke has proven it’s never too late to be a cover star, appearing featuring in People magazine to share his optimistic outlook on life.<\/p>\n

Just two weeks ahead of his 100th birthday, he takes a look back at some of his incredible career highlights.<\/p>\n

“I feel really good for 100, you know, people say, what did you do right? And I say, ‘don’t ask, I don’t know,'” the star told People.<\/p>\n

And from one icon to another, Variety has sat down with Elton John, quizzing him on how well he knows his own music.<\/p>\n

He’s also showing no signs of slowing down, announced as the headliner for next year’s Rock in Rio, that monster music festival in Brazil on September 7, making this one of his biggest performances since his farewell tour wrapped up.<\/p>\n
