{"id":308857,"date":"2025-11-26T01:06:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T01:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/308857\/"},"modified":"2025-11-26T01:06:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T01:06:08","slug":"wallabies-confirm-test-schedule-for-2026-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/308857\/","title":{"rendered":"Wallabies confirm Test schedule for 2026 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-2425b0\">The Wallabies have confirmed a stacked schedule for the 2026 season, with 14 Tests locked in for next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">This includes the brand-new Nations Championship along with home Tests against South Africa, New Zealand and Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stan.com.au\/watch\/sport\/rugby\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"css-tm001h\">Watch every second of Super Rugby Pacific live and on-demand via Stan Sport.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">Australia is set to open its campaign against Ireland at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on 4 July.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">They will then face France a week later in Brisbane, with Joe Schmidt\u2019s final game in charge coming against Italy on 18 July at a location to be confirmed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">Following this, Les Kiss\u2019 tenure in charge will begin with a home-and-away series against Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">Kiss will kick off his stint as Wallabies coach on 8 August in Japan, before heading to Townsville and Queensland Country Bank Stadium seven days later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">From here, the Australians will head to Argentina for a two-Test series against the dangerous Los Pumas on 29 August and 5 September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">They will host South Africa on 27 September, before the Bledisloe Cup series, with Sydney\u2019s Accor Stadium hosting the second Test on 17 October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">The Wallabies\u2019 Spring Tour will consist of matches against England (8 November), Scotland (15 November) and Wales (21 November), with the Nations Championship Finals Weekend concluding the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">Tickets for the home matches against Ireland and France will go on sale to Wallabies First members from 3pm AEDT today, Super Rugby club members from 3pm AEDT tomorrow, and the general public on Friday. The remaining venues will be confirmed over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">\u201cThe Wallabies occupy a special place in the hearts of Australian sports fans which was evident in the record attendances and huge broadcast audiences across the historic 2025 season,\u201d RA CEO Phil Waugh said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">\u201cThe 2026 program will be every bit as exciting with the Wallabies taking on the best of the Northern Hemisphere in the inaugural Nations Championship in addition to massive Flight Centre Series matches against our great SANZAAR rivals New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina as well as the strong Brave Blossoms from Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">\u201cThese matches will be critical as the Wallabies\u2019 finalise their preparation for a truly remarkable 2027 campaign, which will include a full Flight Centre Rugby Championship and culminate in the first Rugby World Cup in Australia in 24 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-2425b0\">\u201cThe Wallabies sincerely appreciated the overwhelming support of the Australian public in 2025 and the Sea of Gold that turned out across all our stadiums. Test season for the Wallabies as we count down to the 2027 Rugby World Cup on home soil, so we\u2019re thrilled to be hosting two key matches in Sydney against two powerhouses of international
