The BradyBagz Show<\/a>, his co-hosts asked whether the issue was Brady being too small or Morales being too big. Brady responded with a revelation: a move to Lightweight is at least on the table.<\/p>\n\u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019m too small \u2014 I\u2019ve done testing at the UFC P.I., and I\u2019m at the max muscle mass at 170,\u201d Brady said. \u201cBut yeah, I\u2019m a smaller 170. If you look at everyone in the top of the division, they\u2019re all over six feet. It\u2019s something I might visit at some point, maybe try to get down to 155. It would be very, very hard. It\u2019s not a skill thing or a strength thing \u2014 it\u2019s a dimensions thing. Morales is just a freak. I heard they weighed him in the back at 210 pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n
If someone looks at Brady \u2026 how in the world is he going to make Lightweight? The man is a tank at 170.<\/p>\n
As for the fight itself, Brady isn\u2019t devastated. He knew the risk of taking on the undefeated Morales and understands the reality of the sport: \u201cSometimes you\u2019re the hammer, and sometimes you\u2019re the nail.\u201d<\/p>\n
Still, he\u2019s frustrated that he didn\u2019t get to showcase anything he worked on during camp \u2014 especially his elite-level grappling.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe wasn\u2019t overly fast, I just got caught,\u201d Brady said. \u201cWhat bothers me is I didn\u2019t get to show everything from camp. I should have shot right away. It sucks, but it also makes me excited to get back in there.\u201d<\/p>\n
