<\/p>\n PHILADELPHIA \u2013 The Saint Joseph’s men’s basketball team reached the 100-point mark for the first time in two years as the Hawks downed the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors, 100-61 on Tuesday night.

\nBY THE NUMBERS<\/p>\n
\n\tJaiden Glover-Toscano<\/a> and Jaden Smith<\/a> topped the Hawks with 16 points apiece. It was a career-high for Smith, who added six rebounds.
\n\tDerek Simpson<\/a> scored 11 and had a season-high eight assists.
\n\tDasear Haskins<\/a> and Deuce Jones II<\/a> each tallied 10.
\n\tKhaafiq Myers<\/a> pulled in 12 rebounds and had six assists to go with four points.
\n\tAl Amadou<\/a> scored his first points in a Saint Joseph’s uniform, netting six. Steven Solano<\/a> also scored six points, playing six minutes.
\n\tWill Lange<\/a> tallied four. Billy Rayer<\/a> connected on a shot from beyond the arc for his first career points.
\n\tAs a team, Saint Joseph’s had more than 50 rebounds in a game for the first time since December 14, 2016 at Princeton.
\n\tThe Hawks hit 100 points for the first time in two years when they beat Stonehill 100-56 on November 14, 2023.

\n\tSt. Joe’s struggled to hold on to the ball in the early going as the Scarlet Raptors held a 2-0 lead two minutes into the game. SJU found its footing, scoring the next 19 points on 9-for-12 shooting, opening a 19-2 advantage with 13:08 remaining in the half.
\n\tThe Hawks pushed the lead to as many as 29 in the first half, shooting 64.5 percent through the opening 17 minutes before taking a 53-28 lead into the break.
\n\tSaint Joseph’s opened the second half, connecting on 5-of-7 shots, extending the lead to 71-32 at the 11:34 mark.
\n\tAs the contest moved on, role players were able to get extended playing time, contributing to 12 different players scoring for St. Joe’s.
