The Broncos have delivered an image makeover ahead of the 2026 season, redesigning their logo and playing strip after a premiership-winning campaign.

It’s the first time in 25 years the famous Brisbane club have sported a different logo, rebranding in the hopes of continuing their success under Michael Maguire.

The club’s new logo was revealed on Tuesday morning, which will be accompanied by a fresh Broncos battle cry — ‘We Charge On’.

“This is more than just a logo – it’s a statement of who we are, where we’re from and importantly, where we’re headed,” Broncos chief executive Dave Donaghy said in a statement.

“It honours our past, celebrates our city, and positions us for the next generation, making us recognizable globally as we move towards Brisbane 2032 and as the NRL expands overseas.

“We’d be doing the club, our Members and fans a disservice if we didn’t prepare for the broader opportunities in front of us.

“And what a way for our old logo to bow out, having been part of some of the club’s greatest moments, including the history that was made this year.”

The new logo is a nod to the foundation branding in 1988, with a stripe in the middle that signifies the Brisbane river.

“It officially retires the outgoing logo, fittingly – in the wake of the Club’s historic double Premiership year. Ironically, the outgoing logo was last updated following the 2006 Broncos Premiership season,” the club wrote in a statement.

Head coach Maguire also said: “For myself it’s about building on the history.

“There’s a lot of meaning to the new logo when you dig a little deeper, there’s a great storyline that is told.

“You can’t stand still you’ve got to keep moving forward, and we have an exciting group.

“I feel we’re at the infancy of what we can go towards but it’s going to take everyone to be able to do that and charging on is a big part of it.”

For the first time ever, ‘Brisbane’ will be on the logo instead of ‘Broncos’ — differing from the previous two iterations.

The Bronco itself is also in a forward facing stance, which is said to embody the ‘We Charge On’ mantra.

Alongside a new logo, a new away jersey has also been unveiled in a midnight blue colour, which is a tribute to legendary scout Cyril Connell, honouring the club icon.

The Broncos have delivered an image makeover ahead of the 2026 season, redesigning their logo and playing strip…

[568
64,63,761,762,158,85
post-310008","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nrl","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-national-rugby-league","tag-nationalrugbyleague","tag-nrl","tag-sports
["GET
