Supergirl<\/a> has added a Reacher star to its cast.<\/p>\n

DC Studios<\/a> and Warner Bros. Pictures<\/a>\u2019 Supergirl arrives in United States theaters next year. Directed by Craig Gillespie<\/a>, the DCU<\/a> movie stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El\/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, and Jason Momoa as Lobo.<\/p>\n

Ferdinand Kingsley<\/a> has been cast as Ruthye\u2019s father, Elias Knoll, in Supergirl. This has been announced on Kingsley\u2019s CV, which is featured on talent agency Conway Van Gelder Grant\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kingsley is known for playing Hob Gadling in Netflix\u2019s The Sandman, George Wilkins in Apple TV+\u2019s Silo, and A.M. in the second season of Prime Video\u2019s Reacher. His filmography includes 2007\u2019s The Last Legion, 2014\u2019s Dracula Untold, and 2020\u2019s Mank, while he\u2019s also appeared in television shows such as Victoria, Still Star-Crossed, Doctor Who, and more.<\/p>\n

Supergirl is an adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evelyn\u2019s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow miniseries. If the movie proves to be a faithful adaptation, Kingsley\u2019s character likely won\u2019t be featured in the movie too much, as his death is what motivates young Ruthye to seek revenge on Krem of the Yellow Hills; however, he plays an important role in the story, and the movie could also expand his part through flashbacks or some other method.<\/p>\n
