The movie is set to premiere at this year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/toronto-international-film-festival\/\" id=\"auto-tag_toronto-international-film-festival_1\" data-tag=\"toronto-international-film-festival\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto International Film Festival<\/a> ahead of its theatrical release in November. John Early, Olga Merediz and Oscar winner Da\u2019Vine Joy Randolph round out the cast. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tEternity is set in an afterlife where souls are granted one week to pick where they will spend eternity. After she dies, Joan (Olsen) must choose between Larry (Teller), with whom she shared her life, and her first love, Luke (Turner), who died many years ago. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cA lot has happened in a week,\u201d a confused Olsen tells Teller in the trailer. \u201cYou died. I died. I\u2019ve just been reunited with both of my dead husbands, and I have to pick where to spend eternity.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tFreyne helmed the film from a script he co-wrote with Pat Cunnane, whose original screenplay landed on the Black List in 2022. Tim White and Trevor White serve as producers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tOlsen\u2019s recent features have included The Assessment and His Three Daughters. Teller recently led in the Apple TV+ movie The Gorge and has a role in next year\u2019s Michael Jackson biopic Michael. Turner starred in last year\u2019s Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDuring an interview with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cMLOFbSTvs0\">Extra<\/a> from earlier this year, Olsen gave hints about Eternity. \u201cIt\u2019s real fun,\u201d the actress said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s a callback to Billy Wilder films. I think it\u2019s gonna be a special romantic comedy that we\u2019re all really proud of.
