a prohibition to register new players and coaches until one month after all overdue payables have been fully paid or an agreement is settled, and fines amounting to \u20ac300,000<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\nEuroleague Basketball confirmed that the Finance Panel \u2014 an independent regulatory body \u2014 issued the sanctions after determining that Monaco violated Articles 32(a), 32(c) and 32(e) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code. The infractions include overdue payables, failure to provide mandatory financial documentation, and lack of cooperation with the Management Control Commission (MCC).<\/p>\n
The MCC, the independent body responsible for evaluating clubs\u2019 financial performance and regulatory compliance, referred the case to the Finance Panel on November 10, 2025. Following the referral, the Finance Panel opened an adjudicatory proceeding and imposed a provisional ban preventing Monaco from registering new players or coaches.<\/p>\n
With the final ruling now issued, the provisional transfer ban remains in force and will continue until all overdue payables have been fully settled or a formal agreement is reached.<\/p>\n
In its decision, the Finance Panel emphasized the seriousness of the violations, citing both financial misconduct and procedural non-compliance.<\/p>\n
