The team at Dylan Miles are offering the very first M series car that BMW created, the 1972\u00a0BMW\u00a03.0 CSL Werks Development Car, arriving in an eye-catching blue, orange, and cream livery, with provenance that confirms it as \u201cthe \u2018holy grail\u2019 of BMW motorcars.\u201d<\/p>\n

The listing highlights: \u201cWithout question one of the most significant BMWs of all time, E9\/R1 is the original BMW \u2018M\u2019 car and the first CSL that was fitted and used to develop the iconic \u2018Batmobile\u2019 kit, the first of twenty-one Werks CSL and one of just eleven cars raced by the factory team, offered in exceptional condition with superb provenance and known ownership from new.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, one challenge that\u2019s sure to emerge is the chore of keeping all of the calendar indications accurate. Fortunately, Audemars Piguet has a solution. <\/p>\n

The Perpetual Calendar Setting and Winding Box (which was revealed in prototype at Dubai Watch Week recently) combines both computer vision (to read where the hands on the dial are) and an AI algorithm to instruct its set of electromechanical components to correctly set your watch.
