With less than four weeks until Christmas, Perth is gearing up for its biggest night of festive fanfare \u2014 the annual Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant.<\/p>\n

Dozen\u2019s of Australia\u2019s best talents will descend on St Georges Terrace to spread the festive cheer at the 54th annual pageant next Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

Among them will be Jody Marshall Dance Company performers Charlie Davis, Sana Aleksoski and Selena Mesiha, who said Christmas was their favourite time of the year.<\/p>\n

Ten-year-old Charlie has been dancing in the pageant for the past five years, and said she loved sharing the spirit of Christmas with her friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like seeing all of the Christmas decorations, and everyone dancing together and having fun,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love seeing all of the costumes and being on TV \u2014 that\u2019s fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while this year\u2019s choreography is still under lock and key, eight-year-old Sana promised punters \u201ca really great night\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to seeing everything and (hearing) all of the music that is playing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Other acts include beloved children\u2019s entertainer Emma Memma \u2014 who will return to the stage for a second year in a row \u2014 and Home and Away stars James Stewart, Ada Nicodemou, Tristan Gorey and Kyle Shilling.<\/p>\n

Retro vocal sensation 60 Four, a four-man tribute act performing hits from the 60s, will also make their pageant debut following their stunning performance at this year\u2019s Telethon.<\/p>\n

And, of course, no Christmas pageant would be complete without Santa Clause making the journey from the North Pole to delight little ones from his infamous red sleigh.<\/p>\n

Ten-year-old Selena said she was already counting down the days until the big day, and said lollies were at the top of her wishlist.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very excited,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201c(I hope I get) any form of sour candy.\u201d<\/p>\n
