There\u2019s less than half a year left before Toprak Razgatlioglu finally gets to make his MotoGP debut with Pramac Racing.<\/p>\n

Who will partner the 28-year-old is yet to be discovered, with a whole host of names linked to the gig. A decision date on their current MotoGP<\/a> line-up has not been reached yet.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unlikely that Miguel Oliveira stands much chance of being retained, following a lack of success in 2025, but his teammate Jack Miller<\/a> remains the favourite for the ride.<\/p>\n

Pramac<\/a> must decide whether to go with experience or to take a gamble on a younger talent in the Moto2<\/a> category.<\/p>\n

There are \u2018very positive\u2019 signs Pramac will keep Miller<\/a>, with his participation in the Suzuka 8 Hour for Yamaha suggesting a good relationship between the two parties.<\/p>\n

However, Pramac \u2018can\u2019t\u2019 decide whether to keep Miller<\/a> because the deadline to make such a decision still hasn\u2019t passed. It\u2019s unclear when an official announcement will be made.<\/p>\n

Pramac may offer Miller another one-year contract<\/a> with a view to replacing him on a long term basis from the start of the new regulations in 2027.<\/p>\n

However, the few talents in Moto2 who might be ready may still be under consideration for 2026. Manu Gonzalez is one of them.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old sits top of the Moto2 standings currently, and has nearly four full seasons of experience there now. He seems primed for a promotion.<\/p>\n

And Mat Oxley believes that should be the case, backing him to pip Miller to the Pramac seat with one eye on the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve heard that Pramac, being an Italian team, with an Italian sponsor and an Italian owner, etcetera, etcetera, that they want an Italian next year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt least one, and I heard Enea Bastianini\u2019s name mentioned. Apart from the last result, wouldn\u2019t be a bad thing. I would go for a Moto2 rider, I would go for Manu Gonzalez or somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why Jack Miller has earned the opportunity to stay at Pramac for 2026<\/p>\n

Pramac are bottom of the teams\u2019 championship this season, and by some way. Without Miller\u2019s points, they would be nowhere.<\/p>\n

The Aussie has scored three top-eight finishes in his last six races and has developed a strong relationship with Yamaha.<\/p>\n

When their new V4 bike arrives, his experience could become a vital part of their development and push to get back into title contention.<\/p>\n

Fabio Quartararo, in particular, might find Miller handy to have around the factory team.
