Scarlets return to Parc y Scarlets <\/a>for a crucial Round 6 fixture as they look to reset their season against a Glasgow Warriors side entering the weekend with confidence and depth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With Scarlets still searching for their first win of the URC campaign, the matchup represents a meaningful opportunity to establish momentum at home. Led by captain Josh Macleod, the Scarlets will look to build on performances in South Africa, where they showed improved cohesion and defensive structure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The return of Ryan Elias adds valuable experience to the pack, while young backs such as Macs Page and Iori Badham continue to gain early-season opportunities.<\/p>\n

Head coach Dwayne Peel emphasized the importance of this new competitive block, acknowledging the need for points while noting the progress made by the squad.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is the start of a massive block of matches for us and it is important we start picking up points,\u201d he said. \u201cWe are obviously disappointed with four losses from four, but I thought we took a step forward in South Africa and we need to keep building momentum.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Peel highlighted the impact of returning leaders, adding: \u201cHaving leaders like Josh and Ryan back is massive for us, and although we are missing a few backs, it gives an opportunity to some exciting young home-grown players in the squad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glasgow Warriors travel to Llanelli with clear intent and a squad prepared for sustained competition. Head coach Franco Smith said the team is eager to resume URC play.\u00a0<\/p>\n
