\n\tAfter four sold-out shows at London\u2019s The O2, alt-rock group Radiohead<\/a> has made history with the highest ever attendance within the arena. Previously set by Metallica<\/a> in 2017, the band has now surpassed that attendance figure four times, setting a new record of 22,355.<\/p>\n

\n\tEach of the four U.K. exclusive shows held on Nov. 21, 22, 24 and 25 saw over 22,200 fans in attendance, with each night breaking the previous night\u2019s record.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThese past four record-breakings nights will go down in the venue\u2019s history, with Radiohead breaking the attendance records each night,\u201d said Christian D\u2019Acuna, Senior Programming Director of The O2. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe knew how special these exclusive shows would be and we\u2019re so grateful to the band for bringing them to The O2. It\u2019s been a true honour to host them, and each night they played different set lists spanning their incredible back catalogue. These shows will be remembered for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFronted by Thom Yorke and consisting of guitarist Jonny Greenwood, bassist Colin Greenwood, drummer Philip Selway and guitarist\/backing vocalist Ed O\u2019Brien, Radiohead first revealed the tour \u2014\u00a0the band\u2019s first in almost a decade \u2014\u00a0last year. Four-night residencies were announced for Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin.\u00a0<\/p>\n
