The 2025 BMW Australian PGA Championship is set for a dramatic finish at Royal Queensland Golf Club<\/a>, with three players \u2014 David Puig, Ricardo Gouveia and Anthony Quayle \u2014 sharing 13-under after 54 holes.<\/p>\n

Quayle, chasing his first DP World Tour victory, has a steadying presence on the bag this week in the form of legendary caddie Steve Williams<\/a>. The impact of Williams \u2014 who has helped guide players like Tiger Woods<\/a> and Adam Scott<\/a> to more than a dozen major titles \u2014 has been immediate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our first week on the bag and it just feels like we are playing pretty steady golf,\u201d Quayle said after the third round. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t feel like I am having to do anything miraculous or outrageous to give myself a chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quayle was quick to credit Williams\u2019 calm composure.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s probably just his demeanor; his professionalism rubs off on you if you are in close proximity to it,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s been just two days so far, looking forward to the next couple of weeks and any other time I get the opportunity will be great.\u201d<\/p>\n
