CAMBRIDGE, Mass. \u2013 Sophomore guard Tey Barbour<\/a> hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 14.1 seconds left, and sophomore guard Ben Eisendrath<\/a> made a steal on the Bulldogs’ final possession to seal the victory as Harvard Men’s Basketball beat Bryant University, 56-53, on Saturday afternoon at Lavietes Pavilion.

\nPlaying at home for the first time since Nov. 11 following a five-game road swing, the Crimson (5-4) closed the game on a 15-5 run to turn a 48-41 deficit with 8:03 to play into a 56-53 lead with 14.1 seconds to go on Barbour’s decisive 3-pointer as Harvard topped the Bulldogs (2-6) in a game that saw 11 lead changes and seven ties.

\nIn a Harvard’s final game in the month of November, senior guard Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> led four Crimson in double figures behind a game-high 15 points, team-high five assists, and five rebounds. Junior forward Thomas Batties II<\/a> (12 points, nine rebounds), sophomore guard Robert Hinton<\/a> (11 points, eight rebounds), and Barbour (10 points, seven rebounds, three assists) joined him in double figures.

\n\tSenior guard Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> tallied a game-high 15 points, team-high five assists, five rebounds, and two steals, while shooting 7-of-12 from the field and 1-of-2 from 3-point distance. He scored in double figures for the eighth time in nine games this year, led the Crimson in scoring for the fifth time, and paced the team in assists for the fifth time.
\n\tJunior forward Thomas Batties II<\/a> posted 12 points and a team and season-high nine rebounds, hitting 5-of-10 field goals and 2-of-3 3-pointers. He finished in double figures for the seventh time this season.
\n\tSophomore guard Robert Hinton<\/a> notched 11 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. He registered a double-figure scoring effort for the sixth time this year and grabbed eight or more rebounds for the second straight game.
\n\tSophomore guard Tey Barbour<\/a> recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and three assists and connected on the game-winning 3-pointer with 14.1 seconds left, turning a 53-53 tie into a 56-53 lead for Harvard. He has scored in double figures in eight of nine games in 2025.

\n\tHarvard opened the game with a 10-6 lead at the 14:39 mark of the first half as Batties II netted eight of the Crimson’s opening 10 points, including hitting a pair of 3-pointers.
\n\tAfter Bryant pulled within 12-10, the Crimson used a 12-2 run to take a 10-point lead \u2013 its largest of the game \u2013 at 22-12 with 3:39 left in the opening half. Four different members of the Crimson scored during the run.
\n\tHarvard remained ahead 26-25 at halftime after the Bulldogs closed the half on a 13-4 spurt.
\n\tOpening the second half, the two teams played within one possession of each other until the Bulldogs used a 9-0 run behind three consecutive 3-pointers to turn a 41-39 deficit into a 48-41 advantage for the visitors with 8:03 to play.
\n\tThe Crimson responded with a 10-2 run to claim a 51-50 lead with 2:11 remaining as Barbour and Pigg\u00e9 each hit 3-pointers during the stretch.
\n\tAfter the Bulldogs made a 3-pointer to take a 53-51 edge with 1:49 on the clock, Hinton countered with a layup to knot the score at 53-53 with 1:04 to go.
\n\tFollowing a defensive stop for the Crimson, Barbour knocked down the go-ahead 3-pointer with 14.1 seconds left to cap a 15-5 run to close the game, and sophomore guard Ben Eisendrath<\/a> came up with a steal on Bryant’s final possession to seal the victory.\u00a0
