Lacoste is bringing its global <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacoste.com\/us\/leclublacoste.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Le Club Lacoste<\/a>\u00a0experience to Australia for the very first time, and they\u2019re doing it by building a 20+ metre floating tennis court on the Yarra.<\/p>\n<p>From 16 January to 1 February 2026, the iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theurbanlist.com\/melbourne\/a-list\/afloat-pool-club-melbourne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Afloat<\/a> will be transformed into a floating French-accented tennis club right in the CBD. Expect a full venue takeover: the custom-built court extension, a Lacoste pop-up store with Melbourne-exclusive pieces, Parisian-leaning food and drinks, and big screens streaming the <a href=\"https:\/\/ausopen.com\/articles\/news\/australian-2025-summer-tennis-calendar-set\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian Summer of Tennis<\/a> from every vantage point.<\/p>\n<p>Bookings to actually rally on the floating court open 1 December 2025, so if you\u2019ve ever wanted to serve in front of the city skyline, consider this your chance.<\/p>\n<p>The launch kicks off on Friday 16 January with a party soundtracked by local legends Edd Fisher (Wax\u2019o Paradiso) and JNETT, plus Lacoste ambassadors and key tastemakers. Expect the usual Afloat vibes dialled up with tennis whites, riverside sunsets and a few very competitive rallies.<\/p>\n<p>Le Club Lacoste Melbourne opens to the public the same day, running through the peak of summer.
