Athens Photo Research Center \u2013 One Year Program: The Photographic Condition
The APhRC offers a hybrid year-long curriculum with in-person workshops, online lectures, and studio visits. Tutors include Laia Abril, Joan Fontcuberta, Susan Meiselas, Oluremi Onabanjo, and Taryn Simon, among others. The program fee is \u20ac2,900 for early applicants and \u20ac3,500 after that deadline.

Ucross \u2013 Fall 2026 Artist Residencies
Experience the majestic High Plains on a 20,000-acre ranch in Wyoming. Artists-in-residence enjoy uninterrupted time and space, private studios, chef-prepared meals, and a $1,500 stipend. The application fee is $40.

U-M Stamps School of Art & Design \u2013 Roman J. Witt Residency Program
Open to established and emerging artists, this program awards one residency each academic year, offering a $20,000 honorarium, housing, studio space, and the University of Michigan\u2019s renowned contemporary Institute for the Humanities gallery as an installation and project space. Houston Center for Contemporary Craft \u2013 2026\u201327 Artist Residency
Artists selected for three- to 12-month residencies receive 24\/7 access to studio space, cultural and professional development opportunities, a $1,000 monthly stipend, and the opportunity to give an artist talk.

The Laundromat Project \u2013 Create Change Residency
This two-year program supports the development of participatory creative projects by NYC artists of color working within their communities. Each year, up to four residents receive $20,000 honorariums, $10,000 production budgets, and more.

Utah Museum of Contemporary Art \u2013 Artist-in-Residence Program
This is the only long-term artist residency designed specifically to meet the needs of Utah artists. Residents get one year of free studio space inside UMOCA and an exhibition in the A.I.R. Space Gallery, among other benefits.

Tate Papers is seeking submissions to a special edition of the journal celebrating the conservation research project Whistler\u2019s Finish. To mark this major project, the issue will center James McNeill Whistler\u2019s technique, process, and finish.

The Burlington Magazine \u2013 Travel Bursaries to Study European Drawings
Emerging art historians can apply for travel funding to visit major collections around the world to study works of Western art on paper from the Renaissance to 1900. Bursaries range from \u00a32,000 to \u00a33,500. Applications are welcomed from postgraduate and curatorial researchers worldwide.

Virginia A. Groot Foundation \u2013 2026 Groot Grant Application for Sculptors
For over 30 years, the Virginia A. Groot Foundation has supported sculptors across all forms and materials, helping them dedicate time and resources to their creative practice. The foundation awards unrestricted grants in three tiers: $60,000, $30,000, and $20,000. The application fee is $7.
