ARN\u2019s Star 102.7 is celebrating six years as Cairns\u2019 #1 radio station \u2013 dominating the state of play the latest Xtra Insights survey.<\/p>\n
Star leads the way among all people 10+ (+0.5 to 26.6), well ahead of Triple M Cairns and its SCA sister station Hit 103.5<\/p>\n
Star 102.7\u2019s Johnny and Inkie still rule the roost in Breakfast (-1.0 to 27.4), ahead of Hit\u2019s Bronte and Lakey (+3.2 to 19.8) with Triple M Cairns third (+3.3 in to 18.5)<\/p>\n
Star 102.7 has the most listeners in Cairns, reaching 74,200 locals each week.<\/p>\n

Fresh off \u2018buying a bar\u2019, where they\u2019ve been hosting listener events throughout the month, they\u2019ve recorded 18.5% in Breakfast (up 3.3 points) and once again secured the #1 Breakfast show for Men 25-54.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHit 103.5 also posted strong gains in every daypart, led by impressive Breakfast growth for Bronte & Lakey (Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey), who are up 3.2 points to 19.8%.
