Tyra Banks<\/a> just sheepishly recalled the absolutely mortifying time that she had a \u201cwhole pile\u201d of Victoria\u2019s Secret items that she thought she would get for free, only for her \u201cAngel Card\u201d to be rejected in-store.<\/p>\n

For reference, the 51-year-old star was a Victoria\u2019s Secret Angel between 1997 and 2005, and during this time, she was gifted an Angel Card that she was told would get her free products in all Victoria\u2019s Secret stores \u201cforever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opening up about the card during a recent appearance<\/a> on Today with Jenna & Friends, Tyra explained: \u201cI had a free Angel Card that the head of Victoria\u2019s Secret gave me. They were like: \u2018Forever. We love you so much, you have this card and you can go to any shop forever, and shop forever with no cap on it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I would get lingerie for myself, matching tops and bottoms, every collection that came out, I got it,\u201d she went on.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then, a few years later, they put a contract on the table and said: \u2018Let\u2019s sign three more years!\u2019\u201d Tyra continued. \u201cAnd I was like: \u2018I don\u2019t want to, I want to be a talk show host, I\u2019m not going to do it.\u2019 And they let me have that Angel Card for a year, and then they said: \u2018Give it back, baby!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> then asked the star: \u201cDid you actually go to Victoria\u2019s Secret and they were like: \u2018Sorry, this card is no longer accepted here\u2019?\u201d and Tyra was visibly embarrassed as she admitted that is exactly what happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate saying this on national TV!\u201d Tyra exclaimed, with Jenna gently asking: \u201cDid you have a whole pile of stuff?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Jenna!\u201d Tyra reluctantly confessed. \u201cIt was in a suburb store in Los Angeles off the freeway, I can\u2019t remember the name of the mall. But oh my gosh, guess what happened, Jenna? I don\u2019t match anymore \u2014 my lingerie is crazy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenna later asked Tyra if she would ever return to Victoria\u2019s Secret, and Tyra was quick to quip: \u201cI would do a deal if you gave me my card back, let\u2019s start there. That\u2019s the most important thing \u2014 I want my card, and then I have to represent the brand.\u201d<\/p>\n

As you may recall, Tyra did return to the Victoria\u2019s Secret runway<\/a> last October, where she closed the brand\u2019s iconic New York City fashion show. However, that was evidently not enough to regain access to the prestigious card.<\/p>\n
