\n\tOregon State jumped out to a 9-4 lead at the 15:52 mark, despite Sean Blake<\/a> converting a fadeaway mid-range jumper for Vermont.
\n\tOregon State continued its dominant start, leading 24-8.
\n\tBen Johnson<\/a> got a corner three to go, but Vermont still trailed 27-13 at the eight-minute media timeout.
\n\tOregon State extended its lead 35-18 to the 3:16 mark as Ben Johnson<\/a> knocked down another three.
\n\tDespite David Simon’s<\/a> back-to-back paint baskets, Vermont still went into halftime trailing 42-24.
\n\tVermont and Oregon State traded baskets to start the second half, and the Catamounts were still down 18 with 15:01 remaining.
\n\tThe Catamounts began a slow comeback as Ben Johnson<\/a> hit multiple threes, bringing the deficit to 15 as Vermont trailed 66-51 at the 8-minute media timeout.

\n\tLeading the Catamounts, Gus Yalden<\/a> recorded 16 points, going 7-16 from the field. Yalden also grabbed three rebounds.
\n\tBen Johnson<\/a> (12) was the only other Catamount in double figures.
\n\tBarnett secured a team-high seven rebounds.
\n\tSean Blake<\/a> and TJ Hurley<\/a> each contributed a team-high three assists.
\n\tVermont outrebounded Oregon State 33 to 31.
\n\tThe Catamounts had 28 points off the bench.
