Two of those players are the versatile attacker Benjamin Nygren<\/a>, who arrived from FC Nordsj\u00e6lland, and Hayato Inamura<\/a>, who can also play in multiple roles, and joined from the J-League in Japan. <\/p>\n Whilst the Celtic Park<\/a> faithful have expressed their frustration at how the window has gone or is going, you probably can\u2019t argue too much about what is being produced by the above two so far. <\/p>\n What\u2019s interesting here is that, even though Nygren plays <\/a>on the right<\/a>, he has played as an eight in pre-season, and Inamura has been deployed at left-back, despite being a natural left-sided centre-half.<\/p>\n Either way, former Celtic<\/a> youth player and boyhood fan Paul Slane<\/a> told Open Goal that he has heard how Inamura has been \u2018outstanding\u2019 so far.<\/p>\n Slane also wanted to give Nygren his flowers, including suggestions that he has \u2018looked better than (Arne) Engels\u2019 in the middle of the park. <\/p>\n Si Ferry asks: \u201cHave you heard anything about the new signings?\u201d<\/p>\n Slane responds: \u201cInamura, I heard, has been outstanding. (He could play) left centre-half and left-back. Nygren has been incredible. A lot of people compared it to Engels, saying that he looks a lot better than Engels.\u201d <\/p>\n James McFadden\u2019s take on Celtic signing Nygren<\/p>\n The transfer fee Celtic paid for Nygren was \u00a32 million, and just like Nicolas Kuhn and Matt O\u2019Riley previously, this could prove to be another serious bit of business. <\/p>\n There is the other side, and that\u2019s Engels being purchased for a club-record transfer of \u00a311 million, which has always been used against him. <\/p>\n But, as James McFadden wanted to highlight, it\u2019s all about getting the \u2018right player\u2019 in, and nothing else. <\/p>\n \u201cHe (Nygren) was worth what \u00a31.5 million?\u201d asks McFadden. \u201cAnd he (Engels) was \u00a311 million. I get that you want to buy these players. <\/p>\n \u201cBut as long as it is the right player.
