\n\tGayle King shared a hilarious anecdote about Barely Famous star Sara Foster at the 2025 Footwear News Achievement Awards<\/a> (FNAA) in New York City on Wednesday. Ahead of presenting Sara and her sister Erin Foster the Launch of the Year Award for their shoe launch with Favorite Daughter, King told a story of Sara interrupting her daughter\u2019s tennis<\/a> practice to Facetime one major star, and we can\u2019t stop laughing.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile backstage before the awards, Sara met tennis icon Coco Gauff, who was at FNAA to receive the Style Influencer of the Year Ward. She immediately begged the three-time Grand Slam winner to Facetime her daughter, who plays tennis. \u201cShe says to Coco, \u2018Could I just Facetime my daughter? Would you talk to my daughter?\u2019\u201d King told the audience. \u201cSo, she Facetimes her daughter. Her daughter is on the tennis court, [and] she goes, \u2018Get her off the tennis court now!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite being in a rush, Coco took the time to say hi to Sara\u2019s daughter, which King praised. \u201cShe\u2019s a very nice woman,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tImagine meeting an icon, and your first thought is to interrupt your daughter\u2019s tennis practice so she can meet the celebrity too? She\u2019s clearly a loving mom \u2014 and deserves a Mom of the Year Award for that move!<\/p>\n

\n\tSara is mom of two daughters, Valentina, 14, and Josephine, 9, who she shares with ex Tommy Haas. In an interview with PEOPLE<\/a> last month, the Nobody Wants This executive producer shared that her kids don\u2019t think of her as cool.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy daughter has even said things to me before like, \u2018It\u2019s just not fair. It\u2019s just not fair that I don\u2019t have cool parents,\u2019\u201d Sara told the outlet. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Your parents are kind of cool!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut her narrative is like, \u2018It\u2019s not fair.\u2019 So I don\u2019t know what she\u2019s looking for\u2026\u201d Sara continued. \u201cMaybe if I was on\u00a0\u2018Love Island,\u2019 she would respect me more.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHopefully this phone call with Coco Guaff will help her daughter think Sara\u2019s just a little bit cooler, right?<\/p>\n
