The car raced by Logan this year \u2013 chassis WR 031 \u2013 was a brand-new build for this year and has only competed in six rounds and 12 races of Super2 competition.<\/p>\n
The car raced by Hillyer this year \u2013 chassis WR 018 \u2013 has had a long life with the team and been raced by a range of well-known names in Supercars including James Courtney<\/a>, Nick Percat<\/a> and Lee Holdsworth<\/a>.<\/p>\n It started its life as a VF Commodore customer chassis for Tony D\u2019Alberto before returning to the Walkinshaw fold.<\/p>\n WR 018 was later converted to ZB specification and was used by IndyCar aces James Hinchcliffe and Alexander Rossi for their wildcard entry at Bathurst in 2019.<\/p>\n Its last \u2018main game\u2019 WAU race came via another wildcard entry, in 2022 at Hidden Valley, with now-PremiAir Racing signing Jayden Ojeda<\/a> at the wheel.<\/p>\n Later in the year the car was leased to Matt Chahda<\/a> Motorsport and raced at Bathurst in Caltex colours with Chahda and Jaylyn Robotham<\/a> driving.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re keen to find new homes for these cars,\u201d Stewart told V8 Sleuth this week.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll include technical data for the right buyer in the deal too.
