Fox News contributor Tom Shillue criticised his comedic timing, insisting Harry is simply “not a good comedian” and that the scripted joke about America “electing a king” – a likely dig at Donald Trump – fell flat.

Ms Downey added that Harry has no experience exercising authority as a king, underlining the absurdity of the punchline. The consensus was clear: the stunt was a cringe-filled misfire rather than a clever attempt at satire.

THIS IS A LIVE BLOG… FOLLOW BELOW FOR UPDATES…

Prince Harry’s surprise cameo on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show has sparked a wave of scathing criticism on…

[32
64,63,447,184292,134,39630,184293,5513,5514,184294
post-328929","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-celebrities","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-celebrities","tag-colbert-cameo","tag-entertainment","tag-fox-news","tag-fox-news-criticism","tag-prince-harry","tag-royal-family","tag-royal-family-tension
["GET
