PHILADELPHIA — Golden State Warriors<\/a> forward Draymond Green<\/a> limped to the locker room late in the second quarter of Thursday night’s 99-98 loss<\/a> to the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> and was quickly ruled out with a right foot injury.<\/p>\n

Green was in a walking boot postgame and told ESPN it felt similar to the foot sprain he suffered in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> last week when Donovan Clingan<\/a> landed on it. Green has been playing through pain and said, despite gingerly walking out of the arena, he hoped and expected to keep playing through it.<\/p>\n

The Warriors finish the road trip with a back-to-back Friday and Saturday in Cleveland and Chicago.<\/p>\n

Green’s foot aggravation is the latest in a growing list of issues for the struggling 11-12 Warriors. Star guard Stephen Curry<\/a> is not on the road trip while dealing with a left thigh contusion that will hold him out for at least another two games, while forward Jimmy Butler III<\/a> missed the Sixers loss with left knee soreness.<\/p>\n

The Warriors have lost six out of their past eight games and have dropped below .500 for the first time this season. They are 4-9 on the road and entered Thursday night as the 23rd-ranked offense in the NBA and proceeded to score 10 points in the first quarter, missing 21 of their 25 shots.<\/p>\n

Searching for answers, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr shuffled through 14 different players and eventually found an energetic lineup that included two-way guard Pat Spencer<\/a>, who scored 16 points in a fourth-quarter comeback that brought the Warriors from 20 down briefly into the lead.<\/p>\n

But Sixers rookie VJ Edgecombe<\/a> made a putback layup with 0.9 left and the Warriors were left with a heartbreaking loss along with another injured headliner.<\/p>\n
