Kim Cattrall<\/a> is married!<\/p>\n

The Sex and the City icon, 69,<\/a> known for portraying the character Samantha Jones, married partner Russell Thomas, 55, in an intimate wedding in London\ufeff this week.<\/p>\n

Stunning images from the low-key event were shared by People<\/a> magazine, with the pair marrying at celebrity-favourite Chelsea Old Town Hall with just 12 guests in attendance.<\/p>\n

Cattrall looked the epitome of sophistication in Dior.<\/p>\n

The bride wore a cream suit jacket and flowing lace skirt, which she teamed with pointed heels and a fascinator for her big day.<\/p>\n

She carried a white and green bouquet of flowers, while the groom, an audio engineer, looked dapper in a suit and gold tie. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The smitten pair and newlyweds have reportedly been dating for almost ten years and have made various red carpet appearances together during their time as a couple. \ufeff<\/p>\n

They were reportedly introduced in 2016 at the BBC in London, \ufeffwhen Cattrall was appearing on an episode of Woman’s Hour in 2016.<\/p>\n

Getting married in the UK must hold special significance for the star, who was actually born in Liverpool, England. But she grew up in Canada.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, it was revealed that \ufeffSex and the City spinoff the spin-off And Just Like That… was coming to an end after three seasons.<\/a><\/p>\n

The series, a continuation and look into the lives of New York’s most eligible women and best friends, \ufeffCarrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, was a little controversial from the get-go, in part thanks to Cattrall’s noticeable absence<\/a> besides from a cameo or two.<\/p>\n

That was because of a feud between Cattrall and co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, which has been widely reported over the years.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Parker, who played Carrie, previously said about Jones’ absence from the reboot: “No. I don’t dislike her. I’ve never said that. Never would.<\/p>\n

“Samantha isn’t part of this story. But she will always be a part of us. No matter where we are or what we do.”\ufeff<\/p>\n
