You will recall that I asked you the day before yesterday about the AFL\u2019s decision in Queensland to walk away from the People\u00a0First\u00a0Stadium, which has become a massive loss\u2011making venture for the AFL. You came back in here yesterday and indicated that your advice from Stadiums\u00a0Tasmania was that the AFL had walked away from the People First Stadium at the request of Stadiums\u00a0Queensland in preparation for the Brisbane\u00a0Olympics in 2032. The Brisbane\u00a0Olympics is seven years away.<\/p>\n
I want to test the quality and veracity of the advice that you got from Stadiums\u00a0Tasmania about the reasons that the AFL has walked away from the People\u00a0First\u00a0Stadium. It is our understanding that the AFL has basically handed the keys back to Stadiums\u00a0Queensland because their investment in that stadium is a loss\u2011maker for them.<\/p>\n

Mr President, I thank the member for her question. It is probably a question for the Queensland\u00a0Government. It\u2019s not a level of \u2013<\/p>\n
