Vaughan urged Stokes to take Root\u2019s advice and believes England are zero chance of winning the Ashes if their skipper breaks down and can\u2019t bowl. <\/p>\n
\u201cGet off the pitch he is saying because he knows and we all know how important Ben Stokes is for this side,\u201d Vaughan said. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe can\u2019t do it all now. If he breaks down England have got no chance. <\/p>\n
\u201cWith Ben they can beat anyone. Without Ben they beat no one or very few. You have just got to be sensible.\u201d <\/p>\n

Julian noted how stern Root looked saying: \u201cThat is a serious face.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cBecause he knows how serious it is that Ben Stokes has to be fit to play the all round game for England,\u201d Vaughan continued. <\/p>\n
\u201cAs soon as this last ball is bowled Ben Stokes will be having a conversation with Joe Root.<\/p>\n
\u201cStokes has got to make the decision himself, but if there is anyone that can go and have a quiet word I think Joe is probably that person.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stokes took Root\u2019s advice and stopped bowling, but he will need to take the ball again on day three for England to get back into the game. <\/p>\n
