Leeds United\u2019s<\/a> recruitment team will have one eye on the January window already as Daniel Farke looks to revive his position as manager this weekend.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke was on death\u2019s door as manager of Leeds coming into this week. It was claimed that he would have to avoid defeats against Chelsea and Liverpool to keep his job<\/a>. Now, though, he\u2019s halfway to an incredibly memorable week.<\/p>\n

After battering Chelsea on Wednesday, Leeds now host a crisis-ridden Liverpool<\/a> side. They\u2019ll be looking for a similar performance to claim historic back-to-back wins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke not focusing on Leeds United transfers, but stresses the priorities are the same<\/p>\n

Beyond this clash with Liverpool, United will surely be looking to give themselves the greatest chance of survival through the January window.<\/p>\n

Who becomes available for Leeds to sign remains to be seen. However, there is a definite need for Leeds to add more firepower to the squad in the final third.<\/p>\n

Farke was asked about his potential approach to the January window during his pre-Liverpool press conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring this week I am definitely too busy,\u201d Farke said, when asked about plans for the January window (via the YEP<\/a>). \u201cI have not one second to think about what could happen, it also depends on injuries and how the players deliver in these upcoming games. <\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke in the summer about what he might have liked to sign and this has not gone away, in the background we are preparing but now is not the time to speak about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

What priorities does Daniel Farke have in mind for Leeds United transfers?<\/p>\n

Farke is unsurprisingly giving little away on what his plans are for January, should he remain in the job until the new year.<\/p>\n

However, him comments here do bring a hint at what he has in mind.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no hiding from the fact Leeds need more goals to stay in the division. And, their shift to a 3-5-2 looks to be making them more direct and more potent in achieving that.<\/p>\n

Back in the summer, though, Farke was adamant about his two priorities after signing Noah Okafor<\/a> for the left wing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always room for more quality. Wingers who can work hard and are good against the ball, disciplined, wingers who are quick and good one vs one, wingers who can play like a 10. This (latter option) would be a good solution for us,\u201d Farke said in August<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After a right-wing, No.10 profile in the mould of Harry Wilson<\/a> or Facundo Buonanotte<\/a>, there\u2019s scope for a striker too.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t rule out another striker signing because you always have to be awake until the last second.
