VANCOUVER \u2014 The Vancouver Canucks<\/a> saw their losing streak extended to a season-high four games as the Utah Mammoth<\/a> earned a 4-1 win on Friday. <\/p>\n

Mikhail Sergachev<\/a>, Nick Schmaltz<\/a> and Kevin Stenlund<\/a> scored for the Mammoth (14-12-3), while John Marino<\/a> added a short-handed empty-net goal with 36 seconds remaining. Karel Vejmelka<\/a> followed up his first shutout of the campaign Wednesday with a 31-save performance at Rogers Arena. <\/p>\n

Arshdeep Bains<\/a> spoiled Vejmelka\u2019s bid for consecutive clean sheets early in the third period, tipping an Aatu Raty<\/a> shot high over his shoulder for the forward\u2019s first of 2025-26. <\/p>\n

Kevin Lankinen<\/a> made 14 saves for the Canucks (10-15-3), who sit in last in the NHL\u2019s overall standings. <\/p>\n
