\n\tAs the fallout continues around the It Ends with Us<\/a> behind-the-scenes drama, Blake Lively<\/a> helped at least one co-star land his next role.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Housemaid<\/a> director Paul Feig<\/a> recently revealed that the actress encouraged him to cast her former romantic lead Brandon Sklenar<\/a> in his upcoming psychological thriller, which premieres Dec. 19 in theaters.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBlake Lively had just worked with Brandon,\u201d Feig told E! News<\/a>. \u201cShe just kept going on and on about how great he is. And I met him and was like, \u2018Yes, you are great and I love you.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn between working with the director on A Simple Favor<\/a> (2018) and Another Simple Favor<\/a> (2025), Lively co-starred with Sklenar in last year\u2019s It Ends With Us, which has since been overshadowed by her and Justin Baldoni<\/a>\u2018s legal battle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tSklenar has previously avoided discussing the situation<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that things get taken away from what the ethos of that thing is and it gets convoluted,\u201d he said in February.<\/p>\n
