But, don\u2019t trip \u2014 we\u2019ve got you covered. This weekly article will recap the best of MMAmania.com<\/a>, reviewing the most-read stories, comments, social media posts, etc.<\/p>\n

So, sit back and take a gander at the madness of the week that was …<\/p>\n

Last week, the story that got the most eyeballs<\/a> was Sam Alvey\u2019s fight week<\/a> and then his eventual brutal downfall.<\/a><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s MMA pioneer Gina Carano is back in the gym<\/a>. Maybe she\u2019s training for a Ronda Rousey super fight, or maybe she\u2019s just getting in shape from missing out on those Disney checks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, our lovely readers couldn\u2019t care less.<\/p>\n

Joshua Van is the first UFC champion who was born in the 2000s.<\/p>\n

Fight Announcement of the Week:<\/p>\n

The first three numbered events for 2026 have been announced<\/a> \u2014 and it is safe to say, UFC is gearing up its Paramount debut with straight heat.<\/p>\n

Dan Hooker vs. BSD<\/a>?? Charles Oliveira vs. Max Holloway<\/a>? Hell yeah.<\/p>\n

This Past Week in MMA History:<\/p>\n

TUF 26 Finale<\/a> – Dec. 1, 2017<\/p>\n

Arguably, the worst UFC champion of all time was crowned in 2017, when Nicco Montano (remember her?) defeated Roxanne Modafferi in the TUF 26 finale.<\/p>\n

In the co-main event on the same card, Sean O\u2019Malley made his UFC debut, winning a unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

UFC Austin<\/a> – Dec. 2, 2023<\/p>\n

Austin, Texas, got an absolutely violent card in 2023.<\/p>\n

In the main event, Arman Tsarukyan starched Beneil Dariush in 64 seconds.<\/p>\n

In the co-main event, Jalin Turner put an extra beating on King Green, thanks to the moron referee.<\/p>\n

There were also two vicious slam knockouts in a row.<\/p>\n

The highly anticipated rematch between Max Holloway and Jose Aldo took place at UFC 218, and it was one-way traffic for \u201cBlessed.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the co-main event, Francis Ngannou delivered on the most vicious knockouts in UFC history.<\/p>\n

TUF 24 Finale<\/a> – Dec. 3, 2016<\/p>\n

Demetrious Johnson ended up winning a dominant unanimous decision over Tim Elliott in the TUF 24 Finale, but he got into a lot of trouble in the first round.<\/p>\n

TUF 10 Finale – Dec. 5, 2009<\/p>\n

Roy Nelson won TUF 10 by knocking out Brendan Schaub in the main event of the finale.<\/p>\n

In the co-main event, Jon Jones suffered his only UFC debut \u2026 via disqualification.<\/p>\n
