Ewers previously took a break in the second half of the 2024, returning at the beginning of this year but will now continue to prioritise her long-term health.<\/p>\n<p>Bloodwork conducted by Ewers\u2019 personal nutritionist revealed hormonal values still consistent with REDs \u2013 a condition that impacts athletes who do not get enough fuel from food for both exercising and daily bodily functions. It was mutually agreed with EF Education-Oatly to release Ewers from her contract, but the team\u2019s medical staff, therapists, and dieticians will remain available to her.<\/p>\n<p>Alpecin-Deceuninck to become Alpecin-Premier Tech<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"970\" height=\"647\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20250826LV2001-970x647.webp.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-230238\"  \/>Unipublic\/Cxcling\/Naike Ere\u00f1ozaga<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclist.co.uk\/news\/pro-cycling-news-2025-premier-tech\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">terminating their sponsorship<\/a> of Israel-Premier Tech and backing French ProTeam St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93, Canadian company Premier Tech is to take over co-title sponsorship of Alpecin-Deceuninck and Fenix-Deceuninck. Deceuninck will remain as a sponsor but the teams will be named Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian Hugo Houle has signed with the men\u2019s squad too, also coming from Israel-Premier Tech.<\/p>\n<p>Ineos Grenadiers sign Jack Haig and announce extensions<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"970\" height=\"646\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20240707TDF1026-970x646.webp.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-230239\"  \/>A.S.O.\/Charly L\u00f3pez<\/p>\n<p>Ineos Grenadiers have announced the extensions 2014 World Champion Micha\u0142 Kwiatkowski, two-time British champion Ben Swift, climbers Lucas Hamilton and Brandon Rivera, and 25-year-old Kim Heiduk. Kwiatkowski has extended for three years, Hamilton for two and the rest for one year.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Haig will also join the team from Bahrain Victorious on a two-year deal. The Australian podiumed at the Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a in 2021, but has failed to reach those heights since.
