Kevin Jonas<\/a> is opening up about why he doesn\u2019t sing as often as his brothers on Jonas Brothers<\/a> songs. <\/p>\n

The 38-year-old singer recently released his first-ever solo single with the song \u201cChanging\u201d<\/a> and went on the The Zach Sang Show to talk about singing and why he was reluctant to do it in the past.<\/p>\n

Discussing the single specifically, Kevin admitted that he felt confident singing it, but it was also one of the first times he really pushed himself to try it. <\/p>\n

Zach asked him why he didn\u2019t sing like that before and he answered honestly. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know man,\u201d Kevin started. \u201cI know it sounds like such a dumb answer but I just felt like I didn\u2019t have in me.\u201d And that\u2019s also why he didn\u2019t sing on past Jonas Brothers albums.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

He admitted to feeling intimidated singing next to his brothers Nick<\/a> and Joe Jonas<\/a>, who have both had other projects to better their craft, like Nick with Broadway and his solo career and Joe with DNCE.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a little difficult. You\u2019ve heard them sing. So, you grow up watching people just crush it and kill it every single night. And also it takes a lot. I know how much it takes to be present vocally, constantly. I don\u2019t believe I had the chops to do it,\u201d said the dad-of-two.<\/p>\n
