\"'Unassuming Akshaye Khanna<\/a> has left everyone in awe of his performance in his recent film ‘Dhurandhar’ where he plays Rehman Dakait. The film starred Ranveer Singh<\/a>, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal<\/a>, R Madhavan along with Akshaye. While every actor has got rave reviews for their performance, Akshaye seems to have stolen the show completely and has been the talk of town. Amidst all the praise, Akshaye’s co-star Ameesha Patel dropped a throwback photo with him while appreciating him as an actor and person. She took nostalgic trip down memory lane by posting an old photo with Akshaye Khanna from their ‘Humraaz’ (2002) promotion days in London. Along with the picture, she also applauded Akshaye\u2019s ongoing success and the praise coming his way. The photo shows Ameesha and Akshaye enjoying dinner at a London restaurant, accompanied by her cousins. Sharing it on social media, she wrote, “GREATNESS THEN n EVEN GREATER NOW!! That\u2019s AKSHAY KHANNA (Akshu as I fondly call him) Unassuming and ego less! Throwback 2 LONDON during HUMRAAZ promotions @ dinner along with my cousins from PARIS!I don\u2019t think he even realises he has BLOWN the NATION w\/ his performances this year!” Ameesha and Akshaye had previously acted together in Abbas\u2013Mustan\u2019s suspense-drama ‘Humraaz’, which also starred Bobby Deol. Akshaye had played a negative character in the film. While in ‘Dhurandhar’, Akshaye is seen as Rehman Dakait, Ranveer\u2019s character in the film is an Indian undercover operative who manages a high-risk infiltration into the Lyari networks. The story creates a layered conflict by weaving in real-life inspirations. Arjun Rampal appears as an ISI officer named Major Iqbal, while Sanjay Dutt plays SP Chaudhary Aslam.
